第一章：

“嘿Michael，早安。”Ben走进Michael房间,开朗地说。他看见Brian倦缩着睡在床边的椅子上。
“Brian？”Ben轻轻把他摇醒。
Brian睁开眼，看着Ben，“几点了？”
“你上班的时间。你一整晚都在这里。”Ben微笑，走过去Michael床边的小几，撕掉一张临时挂上去的日历，拿起搁在记事本上的黑笔，写下今天的日期和天数。“我以为轮到Debbie守夜。”Ben在笔记本上疾写。
Brian起身走过去打开百叶窗，让阳光注满一室。他眨眨眼，以手挡住强光，转向Ben，“Deb打给我……她值夜班，因为Vic今天必须做检查。”
当门被打开，他们转过身去，Brian很惊讶地看着来客。

“为何你们不一起解决你们之间的任何问题？”Brian很光火。
“我才不要跟他合作。”Justin傲慢地宣布，交叉双臂。
“我也不想要跟你合作。”Michael同样也抱着手臂。
Brian翻眼，抓住他们的衣领，“你们两个给我混出我的视线范围。”他说，把他们推开，“在你们表现得比7岁小孩成就之前不要回来。”
“是他先开始！”两人同时大喊，指着对方。
“小朋友们，回家！过了睡觉时间。”他转身走开，恼怒地摇着头。
